I have always said to my students – “We teach best what we most need to learn.” I believe this to my core. I’ve been feeling seriously spent these past few days. Therefore…I made the wise decision (if I do say so myself) to practice yoga this morning with one of my favorite teachers, and was joined by my best friend who is visiting for a short time. Sounds like a no-brainer, but the length of my “to do” list created some resistance around this perfect moment. The teacher opened with the idea of focusing on heart-centered “action”, as opposed to “result”. I breathed and I moved and I got to the other side of my physical and mental fatigue. The teacher closed with the statement ”let you heart digest your mind”. That one little hour has brought me away from “spent” and closer to “illumination” As simple as that – And here I am, for now. I deliver these messages to you because I am learning, every day. Sometimes little things make a big difference.
