The mess of the moment is our teacher – that’s for sure. The key is to allow ourselves to be vulnerable enough to feel the pain, and open enough to receive its teachings. The bliss of the moment is also our teacher – and when we are present, we have the opportunity to experience it. I’m speaking of everyday bliss. Moment to moment bliss. The feeling of your two feet on the ground kind of bliss. Life’s wonder is contoured by suffering. The suffering is scary, especially in the grand scale global sense of the word. But the wonder is also grand scale. The wonder can take us to a place of hope, belief and intention to generate as much light in the world as can. The simple key is to be here now, in loving awareness, as often as we possibly can. (thank you ram dass) That is no joke, hard core dedication and practice that starts with the inner most places in ourselves – and ripples and expands to the entire world.
