I don’t want to be a downer but let’s keep it real here. There is suffering everywhere in so many different forms. Pain is a part of life, and we need to fight for each other and for ourselves to stay strong in body and mind. I mean this on a global level, community level, organizational level, familial level and personal level right down into the core of our beings.
But that fight is a combination of power and vulnerability, pushing out and receiving in. It’s the release that helps us muster up the strength. We may need to cry our way through a training or yoga session (been there), and sometimes a deep breath will do (been there too). And when we feel on top of the world and in the flow, we work to stay in humble gratitude (and there too!). This is what keeps us alive and connected to ourselves and each other.
